Authors of articles published in Advances in Tourism Studies (ATS) retain the copyright of their work. Authors grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given to the creator (BY). If the material is remixed, adapted, or built upon, the modified material must be licensed under identical terms (SA).

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other databases immediately upon publication, with full citation of the original source.
