Aims and Scope

Advances in Tourism Studies (ATS) is dedicated to initiating and stimulating academic and practical advancements in the field of tourism. The journal welcomes high-quality submissions that promote innovative ideas, models, approaches, and paradigms contributing to the development of tourism theory and knowledge.

ATS publishes both applied research articles and critical reviews in the format of full-length papers or concise research notes. Applied studies are expected to explore meaningful relationships between tourism-related variables using rigorous analytical or statistical methods. Meanwhile, review articles should address recent developments and offer new insights or theoretical perspectives on key tourism topics.

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process following an initial editorial screening. Evaluation criteria include the paper's originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, and clarity of presentation.
